Open College Network Northern Ireland (OCN) has been awarded Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme of the Year - SME Business at the recent Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards, held at Titanic Belfast.
The Workplace & Employment Awards reward exceptional companies and organisations focused on their people by recognising excellence in the workplace.
This year marks 17 years of the Workplace & Employment Awards. As the only employment focused awards in Northern Ireland, the event has evolved into one of the country’s most prestigious business initiatives, regularly attracting hundreds of entries and culminating in a presentation ceremony in front of 500 guests.
Martin Flynn, Chief Executive of OCN said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Year - SME Business award. As the largest qualifications awarding body in Northern Ireland, we fully appreciate the amount of work and dedication it takes to achieve personal and professional goals.
“This award comes at a very time special for OCN as we celebrate our 30th anniversary year. To be recognised such a prestigious event in this way alongside some of the leading enterprises in Northern Ireland is a very important milestone for OCN and I would like to thank the entire OCN team for all their hard work and dedication.
