OCN NI has achieved the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) accreditation from the Centre for Assessment (CfA).
In addition to achieving the full accreditation, OCN NI has been awarded Compliance Plus in the following areas:
The Customer Service Excellence is a national quality mark that seeks to recognise organisations that have a customer-focused culture. The accreditation for Customer Service Excellence is achieved through a rigorous assessment process including a review of documents submitted to an impartial assessor which demonstrate compliance against each element of the Standard, and an on-site visit to establish whether an organisation meets the requirements of the scheme.
OCN NI’s Chief Executive Officer commented that: “I am delighted that OCN NI has been awarded the CSE Accreditation. This is yet another significant milestone for OCN NI, and the award of Compliance Plus makes the achievement even more impressive. This award reinforces the impact of the hard work and commitment of the OCN NI team and the strength of our shared values to go above and beyond for our centres and learners.”
After visiting the OCN NI office in Belfast, The CSE assessor praised OCN NI’s culture, leadership and customer commitment, stating:
“OCN NI demonstrates a strong community ethos, and this was recognised recently with the achievement of an Irish News workplace award for its innovative Corporate Social Responsibility programme which included the provision of grants and bursaries to centres and hard to reach learners. The CEO's genuine and visible commitment to customers, his accessibility and leadership style are highly valued by his staff.
The strategic plan 2024-25 is an example of best practice and is produced as a result of extensive consultation with an input from a wide variety of stakeholders. The final product is very well presented, succinct yet accessible thus enabling everyone to see the alignment of the three business priorities to their role and responsibilities. Customer focus is one of the three key priorities in the strategic plan and the deeply embedded customer-centric culture demonstrated by staff and those serving the organisation ensures a high-quality level of service for both centres and learners.”
