The OCN NI Level 1 Award and Level 1 Diploma in Engineering Skills qualifications will enable individuals to gain introductory skills in engineering that will be of use generally and as part of a progressive career path leading to further engineering qualifications. It aligns with current government policy in terms of training and retraining individuals in STEM related subjects to access a growing job market in this area.Learners must successfully complete a minimum of 9 credits. This consists of the single mandatory unit worth 1 credit, plus a minimum of 8 credits from the optional units.
