Qualification Development
If you cannot find any suitable qualifications through our qualification’s finder function please contact the Qualifications Development team to discuss the process for developing a new qualification.
Developing a qualification with OCN will take approximately 18 to 24 months.
The first step in the process for developing a qualification with us requires you to complete a Qualification Development Proposal Form. This can be completed via Quartz Web.

Please provide as much detail as possible to include:
Qualification Title, Level and Size
Qualification aims and objective
Qualification Target Group, age range and entry requirements
Current legislation to be considered
Evidence of independent Stakeholder engagement
Anticipated learner numbers
National Occupational Standards (NOS) to which the qualification relates
Identify independent Stakeholder support for the qualification development
Once this has been submitted, a member of the Qualifications Development team will be in touch with you to discuss your proposal.
