OCN NI eLearning Platform - Ambition
The OCN NI online learning platform Ambition© is designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised learning environments, offering both blended learning and 100% online courses.
OCN NI centres have the opportunity to use the ‘virtual classroom’, a web conferencing system designed for online learning with features including sharing of power point presentation, audio, video and screen along with collaboration tools such as whiteboard, shared notes and recording for later playback.
OCN NI offers a support service to help centres get set up and running with their courses on the platform and to ensure they have the necessary skills and confidence to work with learners in a virtual environment.
Use of the platform, particularly during the pandemic period, has proved invaluable for centres who have taken advantage of this service as it has allowed them to continue with the delivery of courses they would otherwise have had to postpone or cancel.
