OCN is proud to announce that it has been accredited as a Living Wage Employer, demonstrating the organisation's commitment to paying the real Living Wage and helping to ensure a decent standard of living for all its employees.
Accreditation as a Living Wage Employer reflects OCN's ongoing dedication to supporting staff and maintaining fairness across the organisation. This achievement adds to OCN's growing portfolio of recognised standards and chartered marks, reinforcing its commitment to quality, continuous improvement, cybersecurity, excellent service and most importantly, its people.
Martin Flynn, Chief Executive, OCN said: "Achieving the Living Wage accreditation reflects OCN NI's commitment to fairness, dignity and inclusion. It ensures our staff are paid a wage that meets real living costs and supports well-being, in line with our values as an educational charity."
Katherine Chapman, Director, Living Wage Foundation said: "We're delighted that OCN has joined the movement of over 16,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on. They join thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as Burberry, Barclays, Everton Football Club and many more. These businesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and they, like OCN, believe that everyone needs to be able to live with dignity and have a decent standard of living."
The Living Wage Foundation's real Living Wage remains the only UK wage rate independently calculated based on the cost of living, rising annually based on living costs. It gives employers the confidence they are paying a wage that meets everyday needs.
