Learning Bursaries Introduced for the 2022 Learning Endeavour Awards
The OCN NI Learning Endeavour Awards 2022 are now live and open for nominations until Friday 18th March 2022.
In a new addition to the Learning Endeavour Awards this year, each winner will not only receive the prestigious OCN Crystal Award but will also be presented with a £1,000 learning bursary. Furthermore, OCN NI can confirm that each Highly Commended participant will also receive a £500 learning bursary.
Economy Minister, Gordon Lyons, said: “I would like to commend OCN for introducing learning bursaries for this year’s Awards winners and highly commended entrants, so that people are financially supported on their education journey and able to explore new and exciting career pathways. Over a relatively short period of time, the OCN awards have established a real connection with students and training providers right across Northern Ireland, offering a unique platform to showcase outstanding learner achievement, in all of its forms. Each year the calibre of entries is extremely high, which is a testament to the enthusiasm, dedication and expertise of our education and training providers in NI.”
The 2022 Learning Endeavour Awards categories are as follows:
- Further Education Learner of the Year
- Schools Learner of the Year
- Third Sector Learner of the Year
- Advancing Learning Through Innovation Learner of the Year
